Observe the intriguing beauty of the Lock Dinner Table by J.P.Meulendijks Design Studio

J.P.Meulendijks Design Studio has designed the Lock Dinner Table, which features a frame built from layers of flexible bamboo. The legs of the table lock with one another, providing tension that gives the table its flexibility. We love the sinewy look of the dining table legs and they curve and entwine around one another to give it its dynamic look!

The table comes in two versions: bamboo top and glass top. Each presents a different feel. The bamboo top table presents a decidedly masculine edge with its thick, solid bamboo cut into a layer pattern. The glass top table, on the other hand, brings a sense of lightness that counters the heavy frame. We can definitely see how it would fit easily into most contemporary home.

The design studio, based in the Netherlands, has produced a green and future conscious design label called Plankton. Some designs are made of Ecolotek, a new environmentally friendly compostable material developed by Plankton. Find the Lock table in the collection, a small and exclusive collection produced in the Netherlands.
